About Ex-IPS Officer Triveni Singh | Triveni Singh Interview :
A 2011 batch IPS Officer and a renowned officer in India, he is popularly known for his contribution to reducing crime. He is an Ex-IPS officer and a crime case expert in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Due to his contribution to saving people from cybercrime, he gets the name CyberCop & Cyber Singham in Uttar Pradesh. Professor Triveni Singh is a 1994-batch Provincial Police Service (PPS) officer and was promoted to the IPS cadre in 2011.
Prof. Triveni Singh, an SP, Cyber Crime, UP Police, is Indiaâs first CyberCop and has investigated more than a hundred cybercrime cases, followed by the custody of thousands of criminals, and solved thousands of fraudulent money cases. He is in charge of investigating cybercrime cases along with providing administrative & technical supervision to 18 cybercrime police stations located at all commissioners in Uttar Pradesh.

Besides being the first person in India to complete a Ph.D. Programme in Cybercrime, he has earned many certifications in the areas of forensic accounting, ethical hacking, and fraud examination, computer hacking & forensic investigation, cybercrime investigation, and many more.
Dr. Singh also conducts regular training & workshops to share his far-reaching knowledge and insights with people and has become a sought-after speaker for cybercrime. He is an expert in handling cybercrime cases and has received various national & international awards for his contribution to saving people from fraud cases.
Awards & Honours
He is also known for handling money laundering cases like financial and banking frauds and has wide exposure to dealing with cases most probably related to anti-corruption, vigilance, economic offenses, and more. Prof. Triveni Singh was also conferred the award of Indian Cyber Cop of the Year in 2012 by DSCI-NASSCOM.
