His Story Inspires Millions.

Shubhanshu Shukla, nicknamed Shux, was born on October 10, 1985, in Lucknow City, Uttar Pradesh. He is self-assured in his own actions and became the first Indian astronaut to visit the International Space Station (ISS), where he worked as the pilot of Axiom Mission 4 (Ax-4).

This mission, basically planned for launch in June 2025, marks a significant milestone in India’s space journey, after Rakesh Sharma’s historic flight. He was inspired by the Kargil War and decided to pursue a career in the armed forces. Without telling anyone, not even his family, he applied for the UPSC NDA Examination and cleared it. After this, he got a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the National Defence Academy.

In the year 2019, Shukla received an important call from ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization). He embarked on training at the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Star City, Moscow, Russia. After a year-long preparation, he shaped his destiny. On February 27, 2024, the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, unveiled Shukla as one of the leading astronauts undergoing intensive training for India’s maiden human spaceflight mission, Gaganyaan, planned for launch in 2025.’

Shukla Journey reminds us that greatness doesn’t always start with extraordinary circumstances. Like thousands of students across the country, he once sat in a general classroom with dreams, doubts, and motivations.

During the episode, he shares how efforts and courage towards dreams take bold actions and bring you towards a dream destination. In this episode, he strongly reinforces one message for everyone.
You cannot judge talent from books only. Academic scores may measure knowledge, but they do not define the actual talent and cannot define the potential.
